These came out a little smaller than I thought they would (because of the photo on amazon), but really they worked! THe plastic is a little flimsy, and I was honestly truely worried that the plastic would melt, but it seems to hold up.

The mold did what it was supposed to do. Skulls looked good. The mold broke after the third set of skulls and I don't think I was overly aggresive in the mild twist to the mold to eject the skull. It was still usable but I don't think I could use it next year.

The skull portions of the molds have small detailing on them, which makes it hard to fill them in accurately if you're trying to use more than one color chocolate. I tried using a very small paintbrush to fill in the details but it turned out to be a time-consuming mess and ended up not being worth the hassle. If you're just filling the skulls with one color and then filling the rest of the mold with another, it's not terrible, but forget trying to showcase the eyes or teeth (which is why I bought it - I didn't want these to look cheap or junky). I would not buy these again. I wish I would've just bought the plain flat molds.
